• PureVolume is a website for bands and musical artists to promote and advertise themselves. Each artist/band has its own miniature website which usually includes news, photos, upcoming shows, background/biographical information, contact information, and music for free listening and downloads.
• PureVolume is owned and operated by Virb Inc. started Virb Inc. to create fun, far-reaching websites based around lifestyles such as music, online entertainment and social networking..
• There are two types of accounts for artists: a free membership, and a paid Pro membership, as well, as a free membership for a listener.
• Artists can host Mp3s and/or downloads, make friends with other artists, and promote shows and events on their subpages.
• A listener's membership gives one the ability to create his own user profile, start a blog & photo album, leave comments (on both artists' and listeners' pages) or add friends, and post on the forums. Listeners can pick their favorite artists which will be displayed on their profile. Whenever one of their favorite artists adds a new show, blog entry, or song, a notice will appear on their member home.
